|Jason P. Caplan, MD, FAPA, FACLP is the Chair of Psychiatry at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ and a Professor of Psychiatry at the Creighton University School of Medicine. Dr. Caplan is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. Dr. Caplan has authored many journal articles and textbook chapters on various aspects of the practice of psychiatry and serves on the editorial board of two major psychiatric journals. He has been named a fellow of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and a distinguished fellow of the Association for Academic Psychiatry. Dr. Caplan received his medical degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in psychiatry at the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program and fellowship in psychosomatic medicine/consultation psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital.|
